With version 11.12.0 of the Analytics Edge Add-in and version 1.12.0 of the Analytics Edge Desktop App, the Google Analytics connector (GA 4 Report) now has the ability to do date comparisons in a single request.
This feature creates a column for each metric for each date range selected, with quick selection for previous period or previous year. Optional difference and percentage change colmns can also be added. The percentage change column is automatically scaled for Excel ‘Percent’ formatting, so 50% is written to the worksheet as 0.5.
The release is available now from the Downloads page as an Add-in for Excel (Windows) or as a standlone Desktop App for Windows or Mac computers that works with both Excel files and Google Sheets.
